Appearance: Intense, deep and red ruby colour

Nose: High intensity of aromas of red and dark fruits and a subtle presence of wood that is perfectly integrated into the wine, as well as a great mineral content coming from the granite that constitutes the soil

Palate: A very good balance between tannins, acidity, sweetness and alcohol with excellent concentration, smooth texture and silky tannins

Food Pairing: Hearty stews, grilled meat and baked cheese dishes

About the Wine: The Pumanque vineyard is located only 34km from the Pacific Ocean and 238 metres above sea level. The granite soil, moderate temperatures and humidity are comparable to those found in parts Côtes du Rhône in France and La Rioja in Spain. The wine is aged for 14 months in used French oak barrels
