About the wine: Château La Croix Ferrandat is made by the Saint Emilion cooperative which is the oldest in Bordeaux and widely admired for their quality and value. It's a blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernets Franc & Sauvignon from vineyards just south of the town of Saint Emilion
