DENBIES CUBITT BLANC DE NOIRS 2014
Started in 1986, Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking is one of England’s largest single estate vineyards. The estate, independently owned and run, a total of 265 acres of their 700 acre estate planted to vine, it has a production capacity of 1 million bottles.
This Blanc de Noirs is produced using hand-picked Pinot Noir from the Hillside vineyard on the Denbies estate. The delicate pressing of whole bunches of the best Pinot Noir, low temperature fermentation, six months on the lees, and kept in the cellar for a further 40 months in the bottle has resulted in this full-bodied, creamy, rich sparkling wine. Crisp acidity, baked pear and hints of strawberry; this English sparkler is hard to beat.
