Hugh Hamilton is the 5th generation of Australia’s oldest wine family — and proudly the black sheep. Black Ops is his covert blend: a meeting of McLaren Vale’s prized Shiraz with Saperavi, one of the most ancient grapes on the planet. The idea was simple: make something different. The result is a Pandora’s box of flavour.
This is a bold, brooding, intense red — packed with dense spice, violets, and a whole “Black Forest” of dark fruit. Plums and blackberries collide with iodine, beetroot, coal smoke and black tea, all wrapped up in a plush, mouth-filling texture and a firm, confident grip.
