Nose: White flowers, ripe orchard fruit and gentle lemon citrus on the nose

Palate: Beautifully linear palate with a brilliant mineral tension. The ripe fruit character builds as the wine warms in your mouth, seasoned with a cleverly balanced hint of oak. Seductive and long

Food Pairing: Roast cod with a cream mushroom sauce

About the wine: This village Puligny-Montrachet is grown in two plots: Les Rechaux, meaning "warmth" or "a source of heat", and Les Meix, a word formerly used to describe a small plot of land just large enough to feed a family. In Les Rechaux the soil is deep clay and alluvium, and in Les Meix it is clay and limestone. The vineyards were planted in 1961 and 1965 respectively.
