Appearance: Red ruby colour to the eye
Nose: On the nose, the smells of ripe red pulp fruit are followed immediately by spicy tones of liquorice and cinnamon, and with iron and undergrowth
Palate: The palate is gritty and powerful, characterised by sophisticated soft shades and a deliciously mentholated and balmy closure. Long finish.
Food Pairing: Great with red meat and game
About the wine: The “San Michele” which gives a fragrance and sensuality at the same time, and capable of showing a truly exemplary concentration. Matured for one year in oak barrels and aged for 21 months in a bottle.
